Our mission is to prepare, develop and enhance your professional standards.


A-Way Training & Tactical, Inc. was founded in 2016. We started out with providing firearm training courses to Illinois residents. Since 2019, we have expanded to teaching five State approved training courses to meet the requirements for employers. In 2021, we started our tailored training programs to meet the needs of business owners. We are committed in creating effective learning content for students and improving the professional standards for businesses and their employees. We are dedicated in providing in-person classes and quality online training courses for our clients. Our training courses are consistently updated with Illinois, Tennessee mandates and other relevant training information.




OWNER/INSTRUCTOR


Active Law Enforcement officer (Ranks held: Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant and Lieutenant). I'm an active learner with over 24 years working in the field of Contract Security, Local & Federal Law Enforcement. I have served as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) member in which I received strategic engagement training by FBI SWAT and Michigan State Police SWAT. As a former Executive Protection member, I have several years of experience providing armed dignitary protection services. As a Field Training Officer & LE Instructor, I have created policies and procedures on training practices for police officers. As a Business Owner and People Leader in my professional occupation, I have developed training curriculums and effective training tools that improved staff overall performance. I have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a Master Certification in Critical Infrastructure Protection.
